Re: this generation

It’s called Regen. It comes from the word regenesis:: new beginnings.

[note: if this was a make-over of the conference formerly known as The Merge, you would find it on the extreme edition]

When: August 18-20
Where: Kelowna [pictures available here]
Who: 18-30ish movement
What: restoring young adults to the church, the Father, & community with one another.

WARNING: This is all part of the emerging church. The reforming church: continually trying to determine what church will, can, and should look like in our generation.

This is not about a new experience.

This is about a new expression; expressions of God, the church, and spiritual community.
This is not a charismatic revival.

This is a pilgrimage.
This is an opportunity. Leaders saying, “It’s OK. You’re not alone. We see it too, and we want to create places for you to prosper spiritually and relationally.” Not just exist. To prosper. Flourish. Grow.
This is a regeneration of a spiritual generation, blessing them, encouraging them, and releasing them.

An online registration will be available soon…

You should be a part of this.

  • I have a feeling there will be a lot of ongoing conversations with God. In many different ways. Probably throughout the whole weekend. Just a hunch.

  • why is everything always in kelowna? too far i tell ya! Jesus likes to hang out at my place anyway. however it does sound like it's going in a good direction and should be fun. plus if nathan's going...well, where else could you possible want to be?

  • I don't want anyone to touch me while we're praying. No one's going to "lay hands" on me are they?

  • I'm going to put money down that the last comment was left by one P. R. Bentham. Nice try. We're going to pass a bylaw prohibiting anonymity from here on!
