Convergence Update: January 2006
First of all, a BIG thank-you to everyone who contributed to the Convergence Christmas Festivities 2005!
Secondly, some of you may be wondering what Convergence will look like in 2006. Our basic format will be changing slightly. Beginning in January, we will only be having services every other week. On the alternating weeks, we will be meeting for prayer in the loft. The leadership team has made this decision for several reasons. We feel as if the services will be a lot stronger if we have more time & energy to put into them. Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, we really feel that this important timing for us to be earnestly praying about the direction of Convergence, including a future pastor and the group itself. With this in mind, we believe that this format is the best way to make prayer a major priority in the group and hope that you will continue to play an important part in this community!

Hello to all my Convergence friends! Now listen, I know I`ve been a jerk and I haven`t written most of you (I am publicly apologizing for that now) but I have some news: I`m getting MARRIED!!!. I met an absolutely amazing, Godly, beautiful girl last May and over the last few months I`ve prayed about it and we`ve talked about it and now it`s happening. The date we`re looking at is September 23, 2006. If any of you are in the Greater Toronto Area at that time let me know and you`re so invited. By the way, the blog looks great and I continue to get the Convergence emails and I`m excited for what`s happening out there. Keep up the good work.
